The Church sets before us Ezekiel 28:12: “And say to him: Thus saith the Lord God: Thou wast the seal of resemblance, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.”
In Ezekiel, the prophetic word unsettles comfort and awakens hope. God loves His people enough to call them back, and enough to promise a future. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.
