Pause with Jeremiah 26:7. Hear these words again: “And the priests, and the prophets, and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the Lord.”
The Catholic way of reading is never solitary for long. We read with the Church, with the saints, and with the poor Christ still loves. In Jeremiah, the prophetic word unsettles comfort and awakens hope. God loves His people enough to call them back, and enough to promise a future.
As you hold this verse, do not force a dramatic feeling. Ask only for faithfulness. Write one sentence of response in a notebook or phone note: what you hear God asking, promising, or healing. Then do one small act that matches that sentence.

Holy Trinity, I receive today's verse with the Church. Keep Jeremiah 26:7 close to me. Let “And the priests, and the prophets, and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these…” guard my thoughts from morning until night, and let my life quietly agree with Your word. Amen.
