Pause with 2 Samuel 24:18. Hear these words again: “And Gad came to David that day, and said: Go up, and build an altar to the Lord in the thrashingfloor of Areuna the Jebusite.”

Prayer
Come, Holy Spirit. Open the Scriptures to me as You opened them to the apostles. In 2 Samuel 24:18 I hear, “And Gad came to David that day, and said: Go up, and build an altar to the Lord in…” Give me understanding, give me desire, and give me the grace to obey with joy. Amen.
