Let Matthew 22:37 speak first, before our plans and worries do: “Jesus said to him: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart and with thy whole soul and with thy whole mind.”
If this verse speaks of love, it invites a question that is quietly demanding: whom am I being asked to love more concretely today? Matthew does not give us a distant memory of Jesus. It places us in His company, where every word can become prayer.
Today's invitation under the theme of God's Love is simple and serious. If possible, bring this line to Mass or to a brief visit before the Blessed Sacrament. Let Christ finish in silence what the verse began in your thoughts.

Lord God, thank You for speaking through Matthew 22:37. You said, “Jesus said to him: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart and with…” I do not want to rush past these words. Quiet my mind, warm my heart, and help me live what I have heard with faith, hope, and charity. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
