Theme: Mercy
“And thy mercy will follow me all the days of my life. And that I may dwell in the house of the Lord unto length of days. ”
Reflection for Today
Pause with Psalms 22:6. Hear these words again: “And thy mercy will follow me all the days of my life. And that I may dwell in the house of the Lord unto length of days.”
The Psalms have given voice to every mood of the believer: praise, tears, trust, and longing. What Israel prayed, the Church still sings. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.
God often changes us less by thunder and more by a line of Scripture that will not leave us alone. Write one sentence of response in a notebook or phone note: what you hear God asking, promising, or healing. Then do one small act that matches that sentence.
Prayer
Lord God, thank You for speaking through Psalms 22:6. You said, “And thy mercy will follow me all the days of my life. And that I may dwell in the…” I do not want to rush past these words. Quiet my mind, warm my heart, and help me live what I have heard with faith, hope, and charity. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
