The Church sets before us Job 22:12: “Dost not thou think that God is higher than heaven, and is elevated above the height of the stars?”
Job belongs to the wisdom books, where faith meets daily decisions. Holiness is not only for extraordinary moments; it is learned in ordinary choices. The Catholic way of reading is never solitary for long. We read with the Church, with the saints, and with the poor Christ still loves.

Prayer
Father of mercies, I bring You this day and this verse from Job 22:12. As I listen to “Dost not thou think that God is higher than heaven, and is elevated above the height…,” heal what is anxious in me, correct what is proud, and strengthen what is willing to love. Amen.
