Let 2 Chronicles 19:9 speak first, before our plans and worries do: “And he charged them, saying, Thus shall you do in the fear of the Lord faithfully, and with a perfect heart.”
2 Chronicles is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.

Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Through 2 Chronicles 19:9, let “And he charged them, saying, Thus shall you do in the fear of the Lord faithfully,…” become more than a memory. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
