Let Exodus 16:25 speak first, before our plans and worries do: “And Moses said: Eat it to day, because it is the sabbath of the Lord: to day it shall not be found in the field.”
Scripture rarely flatters us. It loves us enough to tell the truth, and then it stays with us while we learn to live that truth. Exodus is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
