The Church sets before us Revelation 15:7: “And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden vials, full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.”
Revelation is often treated as a puzzle of fear. Catholic faith reads it as a book of worship and hope: the Lamb reigns, and history is not abandoned. The Catholic way of reading is never solitary for long. We read with the Church, with the saints, and with the poor Christ still loves.
Today's invitation under the theme of Daily Scripture is simple and serious. Pray a decade of the Rosary with this verse in mind. Ask Mary to teach you how to keep God's word and ponder it, as she did.
Prayer
Holy Trinity, I receive today's verse with the Church. Keep Revelation 15:7 close to me. Let “And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden vials,…” guard my thoughts from morning until night, and let my life quietly agree with Your word. Amen.
