Let John 10:32 speak first, before our plans and worries do: “Jesus answered them: Many good works I have shewed you from my Father. For which of those works do you stone me?”
The Church treasures John because the Gospel is the face of Christ in human language, meant to be heard with faith. A single verse can meet us differently depending on the season we are in: grief, gratitude, fatigue, or new beginnings.
As you hold this verse, do not force a dramatic feeling. Ask only for faithfulness. Write one sentence of response in a notebook or phone note: what you hear God asking, promising, or healing. Then do one small act that matches that sentence.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Through John 10:32, let “Jesus answered them: Many good works I have shewed you from my Father. For which of…” become more than a memory. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
