Today's Catholic verse of the day is 2 Samuel 10:12: “Be of good courage, and let us fight for our people, and for the city of our God: and the Lord will do what is good in his sight.”
2 Samuel is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church. True strength in Scripture is often quiet. It is the courage to remain faithful when quitting would be easier.
