Today's Catholic verse of the day is 1 Kings 10:1: “And the queen of Saba having heard of the fame of Solomon in the name of the Lord, came to try him with hard questions.”
1 Kings is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church. A single verse can meet us differently depending on the season we are in: grief, gratitude, fatigue, or new beginnings.

Prayer
Lord God, thank You for speaking through 1 Kings 10:1. You said, “And the queen of Saba having heard of the fame of Solomon in the name of the Lord,…” I do not want to rush past these words. Quiet my mind, warm my heart, and help me live what I have heard with faith, hope, and charity. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
