Reflection for Today

Let John 9:3 speak first, before our plans and worries do: “Jesus answered: Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents; but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”

The Church treasures John because the Gospel is the face of Christ in human language, meant to be heard with faith. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.

Today's invitation under the theme of Work & Service is simple and serious. If possible, bring this line to Mass or to a brief visit before the Blessed Sacrament. Let Christ finish in silence what the verse began in your thoughts.
