Today's Catholic verse of the day is Job 9:4: “He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath resisted him, and hath had peace?”
Peace is one of the first things anxiety steals. Christ does not deny our storms; He offers a peace that can remain even while the waves are still high. Job belongs to the wisdom books, where faith meets daily decisions. Holiness is not only for extraordinary moments; it is learned in ordinary choices.
Today's invitation under the theme of Peace is simple and serious. If possible, bring this line to Mass or to a brief visit before the Blessed Sacrament. Let Christ finish in silence what the verse began in your thoughts.
Prayer
Come, Holy Spirit. Open the Scriptures to me as You opened them to the apostles. In Job 9:4 I hear, “He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath resisted him, and hath had…” Give me understanding, give me desire, and give me the grace to obey with joy. Amen.
