Today's Catholic verse of the day is Revelation 8:4: “And the smoke of the incense of the prayers of the saints ascended up before God from the hand of the angel.”
Revelation is often treated as a puzzle of fear. Catholic faith reads it as a book of worship and hope: the Lamb reigns, and history is not abandoned. Prayer is where Scripture stops being information and becomes relationship. Even a short, honest conversation with God can reorder a crowded day.
God often changes us less by thunder and more by a line of Scripture that will not leave us alone. Share this verse with someone who needs encouragement, not as advice from above, but as a gift you yourself are trying to live.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Through Revelation 8:4, let “And the smoke of the incense of the prayers of the saints ascended up before God…” become more than a memory. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
