Theme: Family
“At the same time was Moses born: and he was acceptable to God. Who was nourished three months in his father's house.”
Reflection for Today
Let Acts 7:20 speak first, before our plans and worries do: “At the same time was Moses born: and he was acceptable to God. Who was nourished three months in his father's house.”
The Acts of the Apostles remind us that the Church is not a museum of holy memories. It is a living community moved by the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning. A single verse can meet us differently depending on the season we are in: grief, gratitude, fatigue, or new beginnings.
Today's invitation under the theme of Family is simple and serious. If the verse consoles you, do not rush past the comfort. Gratitude is also a form of obedience.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Through Acts 7:20, let “At the same time was Moses born: and he was acceptable to God. Who was nourished…” become more than a memory. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
