Pause with Joshua 6:2. Hear these words again: “And the Lord said to Joshua: Behold I have given into thy hands Jericho, and the king thereof, and all the valiant men.”
Joshua is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church. Holy Trinity, I receive today's verse with the Church. Keep Joshua 6:2 close to me. Let “And the Lord said to Joshua: Behold I have given into thy hands Jericho, and the…” guard my thoughts from morning until night, and let my life quietly agree with Your word. Amen.
