Today's Catholic verse of the day is Revelation 4:2: “And immediately I was in the spirit. And behold, there was a throne set in heaven, and upon the throne one sitting.”
Revelation is often treated as a puzzle of fear. Catholic faith reads it as a book of worship and hope: the Lamb reigns, and history is not abandoned. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.
Today's invitation under the theme of Holy Spirit is simple and serious. Write one sentence of response in a notebook or phone note: what you hear God asking, promising, or healing. Then do one small act that matches that sentence.
Prayer
Come, Holy Spirit. Open the Scriptures to me as You opened them to the apostles. In Revelation 4:2 I hear, “And immediately I was in the spirit. And behold, there was a throne set in heaven,…” Give me understanding, give me desire, and give me the grace to obey with joy. Amen.
