Reflection for Today
The Church sets before us 1 Timothy 3:13: “For they that have ministered well shall purchase to themselves a good degree and much confidence in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
Faith is not pretending we have no questions. It is trusting Christ enough to keep walking while the answers are still unfinished. 1 Timothy comes from the apostolic age, when the first communities were learning how to live the Gospel in ordinary struggles. The Church still listens here for guidance.
Today's invitation under the theme of Faith is simple and serious. Share this verse with someone who needs encouragement, not as advice from above, but as a gift you yourself are trying to live.
Prayer
Holy Trinity, I receive today's verse with the Church. Keep 1 Timothy 3:13 close to me. Let “For they that have ministered well shall purchase to themselves a good degree and…” guard my thoughts from morning until night, and let my life quietly agree with Your word. Amen.
