Pause with Colossians 3:1. Hear these words again: “Therefore if you be risen with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God.”
Colossians comes from the apostolic age, when the first communities were learning how to live the Gospel in ordinary struggles. The Church still listens here for guidance. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.

Prayer
Lord God, thank You for speaking through Colossians 3:1. You said, “Therefore if you be risen with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ…” I do not want to rush past these words. Quiet my mind, warm my heart, and help me live what I have heard with faith, hope, and charity. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
