Theme: Peace
“Nabuchodonosor, the king, to all peoples, nations, and tongues, that dwell in all the earth, peace be multiplied unto you.”
Reflection for Today
Pause with Daniel 3:98. Hear these words again: “Nabuchodonosor, the king, to all peoples, nations, and tongues, that dwell in all the earth, peace be multiplied unto you.”
Many of us carry quiet fear into work, family, and prayer. This verse does not shame that fear. It invites us to bring it into the light of God. In Daniel, the prophetic word unsettles comfort and awakens hope. God loves His people enough to call them back, and enough to promise a future.
If nothing else remains from this page, let one phrase of Daniel 3:98 remain. Name your loudest fear before God without editing it. Then ask for the peace of Christ, not the peace of perfect control.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Through Daniel 3:98, let “Nabuchodonosor, the king, to all peoples, nations, and tongues, that dwell in all…” become more than a memory. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
