Theme: Daily Scripture
“And the hand of the Lord was upon me, and he said to me: Rise and go forth into the plain, and there I will speak to thee.”
Reflection for Today
Pause with Ezekiel 3:22. Hear these words again: “And the hand of the Lord was upon me, and he said to me: Rise and go forth into the plain, and there I will speak to thee.”
In Ezekiel, the prophetic word unsettles comfort and awakens hope. God loves His people enough to call them back, and enough to promise a future. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.
Today's invitation under the theme of Daily Scripture is simple and serious. If possible, bring this line to Mass or to a brief visit before the Blessed Sacrament. Let Christ finish in silence what the verse began in your thoughts.
Prayer
Lord God, thank You for speaking through Ezekiel 3:22. You said, “And the hand of the Lord was upon me, and he said to me: Rise and go forth into the…” I do not want to rush past these words. Quiet my mind, warm my heart, and help me live what I have heard with faith, hope, and charity. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
