Reflection for Today
Pause with Galatians 2:17. Hear these words again: “But if, while we seek to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ then the minister of sin? God forbid!”
The Catholic way of reading is never solitary for long. We read with the Church, with the saints, and with the poor Christ still loves. Galatians comes from the apostolic age, when the first communities were learning how to live the Gospel in ordinary struggles. The Church still listens here for guidance.
God often changes us less by thunder and more by a line of Scripture that will not leave us alone. Share this verse with someone who needs encouragement, not as advice from above, but as a gift you yourself are trying to live.
Prayer
Holy Trinity, I receive today's verse with the Church. Keep Galatians 2:17 close to me. Let “But if, while we seek to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also are found…” guard my thoughts from morning until night, and let my life quietly agree with Your word. Amen.
