Theme: Daily Scripture
“And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith: And let all the angels of God adore him.”
Reflection for Today
Today's Catholic verse of the day is Hebrews 1:6: “And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith: And let all the angels of God adore him.”
Hebrews comes from the apostolic age, when the first communities were learning how to live the Gospel in ordinary struggles. The Church still listens here for guidance. A single verse can meet us differently depending on the season we are in: grief, gratitude, fatigue, or new beginnings.
God often changes us less by thunder and more by a line of Scripture that will not leave us alone. If the verse consoles you, do not rush past the comfort. Gratitude is also a form of obedience.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Through Hebrews 1:6, let “And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith: And let…” become more than a memory. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
