We are not made to be alone. God places us in communities — neighborhoods, parishes, schools, workplaces — where we give and receive love. Today we pray for the people God is preparing to be part of our new life, and we ask for the courage to reach out and build new connections.
Prayer for Day 5
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Prayer for New Community:
Lord, You said it is not good for man to be alone. As I move to a new place, I ask You to prepare the community around me. Send good neighbors, faithful friends, and a welcoming parish family. Give me the courage to introduce myself, to be vulnerable, and to invest in new relationships. Help me to be a blessing to my new community as much as I hope to receive blessing from it.

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another." (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Closing Prayer:
Saint Joseph, patron of families and communities, help me to find my place in this new neighborhood. Mary, Mother of the Church, lead me to a parish where I can grow in faith and serve others. Amen.

One of the first things to do when moving to a new area is to find your parish. Attending Mass regularly, joining a small group, or volunteering are powerful ways to build community quickly.
Today, research parishes near your new home. Ask God to lead you to the right one — the community where He wants you to grow and serve.
