Today's Focus: Blessing of the New Home
A home is more than walls and a roof — it is a sanctuary, a place where God dwells with His people. Today we consecrate our new home to God, asking Him to fill every room with His presence, peace, and protection. As Joshua declared, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
Prayer for Day 3
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Prayer for the New Home:
Lord God, I dedicate this new home to You. May it be a place of prayer, love, and hospitality. Drive away all evil and fill every room with Your Holy Spirit. Let all who enter feel Your peace and presence. May this home be a domestic church — a place where faith is lived, love is practiced, and Your name is honored.

"Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain." (Psalm 127:1)

Closing Prayer:
Blessed Mother Mary, you made a home for Jesus in Nazareth. Help me to make my new home a place where Jesus is welcome and honored. Saint Joseph, patron of the home, protect this dwelling and all who live in it. Amen.

Reflection for Today
Consider having your new home blessed by a priest. This ancient Catholic tradition invokes God's protection and consecrates the space for holy living. Even before the priest visits, you can pray over each room, asking God to fill it with His presence.
Place a crucifix or image of Our Lady in a prominent place as a sign that Christ is Lord of your home.
