Theme: Faith
“And there shall be faith in thy times: riches of salvation, wisdom and knowledge: the fear of the Lord is his treasure.”
Reflection for Today
The Church sets before us Isaiah 33:6: “And there shall be faith in thy times: riches of salvation, wisdom and knowledge: the fear of the Lord is his treasure.”
Peace is one of the first things anxiety steals. Christ does not deny our storms; He offers a peace that can remain even while the waves are still high. In Isaiah, the prophetic word unsettles comfort and awakens hope. God loves His people enough to call them back, and enough to promise a future.
Today's invitation under the theme of Faith is simple and serious. Before the day runs away, sit with this verse for two quiet minutes. Say it slowly. Notice which word stays warm in the heart, and carry that word into one conversation.
Prayer
Father of mercies, I bring You this day and this verse from Isaiah 33:6. As I listen to “And there shall be faith in thy times: riches of salvation, wisdom and knowledge:…,” heal what is anxious in me, correct what is proud, and strengthen what is willing to love. Amen.
