The Church sets before us Job 32:8: “But, as I see, there is a spirit in men, and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth understanding.”
Job belongs to the wisdom books, where faith meets daily decisions. Holiness is not only for extraordinary moments; it is learned in ordinary choices. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.
Today's invitation under the theme of Wisdom is simple and serious. If the verse convicts you, do not panic. Take it to Confession when you can, or begin with an honest Act of Contrition tonight.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Through Job 32:8, let “But, as I see, there is a spirit in men, and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth…” become more than a memory. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
