Pause with Psalms 31:2. Hear these words again: “Blessed is the man to whom the Lord hath not imputed sin, and in whose spirit there is no guile.”
The Catholic way of reading is never solitary for long. We read with the Church, with the saints, and with the poor Christ still loves. The Psalms have given voice to every mood of the believer: praise, tears, trust, and longing. What Israel prayed, the Church still sings.
Today's invitation under the theme of Holy Spirit is simple and serious. If the verse consoles you, do not rush past the comfort. Gratitude is also a form of obedience.
Prayer
Holy Trinity, I receive today's verse with the Church. Keep Psalms 31:2 close to me. Let “Blessed is the man to whom the Lord hath not imputed sin, and in whose spirit there…” guard my thoughts from morning until night, and let my life quietly agree with Your word. Amen.
