The Church sets before us Acts 27:24: “Saying: Fear not, Paul, thou must be brought before Caesar; and behold, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.”
The Acts of the Apostles remind us that the Church is not a museum of holy memories. It is a living community moved by the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning. Peace is one of the first things anxiety steals. Christ does not deny our storms; He offers a peace that can remain even while the waves are still high.
Today's invitation under the theme of Peace is simple and serious. If possible, bring this line to Mass or to a brief visit before the Blessed Sacrament. Let Christ finish in silence what the verse began in your thoughts.
Prayer
Lord God, thank You for speaking through Acts 27:24. You said, “Saying: Fear not, Paul, thou must be brought before Caesar; and behold, God hath…” I do not want to rush past these words. Quiet my mind, warm my heart, and help me live what I have heard with faith, hope, and charity. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
