Pause with Sirach 26:3. Hear these words again: “A good wife is a good portion, she shall be given in the portion of them that fear God, to a man for his good deeds.”
Sirach belongs to the wisdom books, where faith meets daily decisions. Holiness is not only for extraordinary moments; it is learned in ordinary choices. Many of us carry quiet fear into work, family, and prayer. This verse does not shame that fear. It invites us to bring it into the light of God.

Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture.
