Today's Catholic verse of the day is Leviticus 26:19: “And I will break the pride of your stubbornness: and I will make to you the heaven above as iron, and the earth as brass.”
Leviticus is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church. A single verse can meet us differently depending on the season we are in: grief, gratitude, fatigue, or new beginnings.
God often changes us less by thunder and more by a line of Scripture that will not leave us alone. If possible, bring this line to Mass or to a brief visit before the Blessed Sacrament. Let Christ finish in silence what the verse began in your thoughts.

Holy Trinity, I receive today's verse with the Church. Keep Leviticus 26:19 close to me. Let “And I will break the pride of your stubbornness: and I will make to you the heaven…” guard my thoughts from morning until night, and let my life quietly agree with Your word. Amen.
