Pause with 2 Chronicles 25:27. Hear these words again: “And after he revolted from the Lord, they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem. And he fled into Lachis, and they sent, and killed him there.”
2 Chronicles is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.

Holy Trinity, I receive today's verse with the Church. Keep 2 Chronicles 25:27 close to me. Let “And after he revolted from the Lord, they made a conspiracy against him in…” guard my thoughts from morning until night, and let my life quietly agree with Your word. Amen.
