Let Jeremiah 24:3 speak first, before our plans and worries do: “And the Lord said to me: What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said: Figs, the good figs, very good: and the bad figs, very bad, which cannot be eaten because they are bad.”
In Jeremiah, the prophetic word unsettles comfort and awakens hope. God loves His people enough to call them back, and enough to promise a future. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Through Jeremiah 24:3, let “And the Lord said to me: What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said: Figs, the good figs,…” become more than a memory. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
