Catholic Verse of the Day

Psalms 24:4

Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible verse for Thursday, April 5, 2029, with reflection, prayer, and a link to the full chapter.

Theme: Daily Scripture

Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without cause. Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy paths.

Psalms 24:4

Reflection for Today

Pause with Psalms 24:4. Hear these words again: “Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without cause. Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy paths.”

The Psalms have given voice to every mood of the believer: praise, tears, trust, and longing. What Israel prayed, the Church still sings. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.

Today's invitation under the theme of Daily Scripture is simple and serious. Pray a decade of the Rosary with this verse in mind. Ask Mary to teach you how to keep God's word and ponder it, as she did.

Prayer

Come, Holy Spirit. Open the Scriptures to me as You opened them to the apostles. In Psalms 24:4 I hear, “Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without cause. Shew, O Lord, thy…” Give me understanding, give me desire, and give me the grace to obey with joy. Amen.
