Theme: Creation & Beginning
“Shall a man be hid in secret places, and I not see him, saith the Lord? do not I fill heaven and earth, saith the Lord?”
Reflection for Today
Let Jeremiah 23:24 speak first, before our plans and worries do: “Shall a man be hid in secret places, and I not see him, saith the Lord? do not I fill heaven and earth, saith the Lord?”
In Jeremiah, the prophetic word unsettles comfort and awakens hope. God loves His people enough to call them back, and enough to promise a future. A single verse can meet us differently depending on the season we are in: grief, gratitude, fatigue, or new beginnings.
As you hold this verse, do not force a dramatic feeling. Ask only for faithfulness. Write one sentence of response in a notebook or phone note: what you hear God asking, promising, or healing. Then do one small act that matches that sentence.
Prayer
Holy Trinity, I receive today's verse with the Church. Keep Jeremiah 23:24 close to me. Let “Shall a man be hid in secret places, and I not see him, saith the Lord? do not I…” guard my thoughts from morning until night, and let my life quietly agree with Your word. Amen.
