Today's Catholic verse of the day is 2 Kings 22:2: “And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in all the ways of David, his father: he turned not aside to the right hand, or to the left.”
2 Kings is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.

Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Through 2 Kings 22:2, let “And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in all the ways…” become more than a memory. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
