Reflection for Today
Today's Catholic verse of the day is Deuteronomy 16:17: “But every one shall offer according to what he hath, according to the blessing of the Lord his God, which he shall give him.”
Scripture rarely flatters us. It loves us enough to tell the truth, and then it stays with us while we learn to live that truth. Deuteronomy is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church.

Prayer
