Pause with Esther 14:14. Hear these words again: “But deliver us by thy hand, and help me, who have no other helper, but thee, O Lord, who hast the knowledge of all things.”
Esther, received in the Catholic canon, shows courage, fidelity, and providence when God's people are tested. Scripture rarely flatters us. It loves us enough to tell the truth, and then it stays with us while we learn to live that truth.
As you hold this verse, do not force a dramatic feeling. Ask only for faithfulness. Write one sentence of response in a notebook or phone note: what you hear God asking, promising, or healing. Then do one small act that matches that sentence.
Prayer
Holy Trinity, I receive today's verse with the Church. Keep Esther 14:14 close to me. Let “But deliver us by thy hand, and help me, who have no other helper, but thee, O Lord,…” guard my thoughts from morning until night, and let my life quietly agree with Your word. Amen.
