Reflection for Today
The Church sets before us Leviticus 13:19: “And in the place of the ulcer, there appeareth a white scar, or somewhat red, the man shall be brought to the priest.”
A single verse can meet us differently depending on the season we are in: grief, gratitude, fatigue, or new beginnings. Leviticus is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church.

Prayer
Lord God, thank You for speaking through Leviticus 13:19. You said, “And in the place of the ulcer, there appeareth a white scar, or somewhat red, the…” I do not want to rush past these words. Quiet my mind, warm my heart, and help me live what I have heard with faith, hope, and charity. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
