Mark 11:9

Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible verse for Saturday, March 25, 2028, with reflection, prayer, and a link to the full chapter.

Theme: Daily Scripture

Gratitude

And they that went before and they that followed cried, saying: Hosanna: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Mark 11:9

Reflection for Today

Let Mark 11:9 speak first, before our plans and worries do: “And they that went before and they that followed cried, saying: Hosanna: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.”

Scripture rarely flatters us. It loves us enough to tell the truth, and then it stays with us while we learn to live that truth. Mark does not give us a distant memory of Jesus. It places us in His company, where every word can become prayer.

God often changes us less by thunder and more by a line of Scripture that will not leave us alone. If the verse convicts you, do not panic. Take it to Confession when you can, or begin with an honest Act of Contrition tonight.

Prayer

Holy Trinity, I receive today's verse with the Church. Keep Mark 11:9 close to me. Let “And they that went before and they that followed cried, saying: Hosanna: Blessed is…” guard my thoughts from morning until night, and let my life quietly agree with Your word. Amen.
