Theme: Daily Scripture
“And the Lord said to me: A conspiracy is found among the men of Juda, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.”
Reflection for Today
Today's Catholic verse of the day is Jeremiah 11:9: “And the Lord said to me: A conspiracy is found among the men of Juda, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.”
In Jeremiah, the prophetic word unsettles comfort and awakens hope. God loves His people enough to call them back, and enough to promise a future. A single verse can meet us differently depending on the season we are in: grief, gratitude, fatigue, or new beginnings.
As you hold this verse, do not force a dramatic feeling. Ask only for faithfulness. Write one sentence of response in a notebook or phone note: what you hear God asking, promising, or healing. Then do one small act that matches that sentence.
Prayer
Lord God, thank You for speaking through Jeremiah 11:9. You said, “And the Lord said to me: A conspiracy is found among the men of Juda, and among the…” I do not want to rush past these words. Quiet my mind, warm my heart, and help me live what I have heard with faith, hope, and charity. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
