Theme: Daily Scripture
“For who among men is he that can know the counsel of God? or who can think what the will of God is?”
Reflection for Today
Pause with Wisdom 9:13. Hear these words again: “For who among men is he that can know the counsel of God? or who can think what the will of God is?”
Wisdom belongs to the wisdom books, where faith meets daily decisions. Holiness is not only for extraordinary moments; it is learned in ordinary choices. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.
God often changes us less by thunder and more by a line of Scripture that will not leave us alone. If possible, bring this line to Mass or to a brief visit before the Blessed Sacrament. Let Christ finish in silence what the verse began in your thoughts.
Prayer
Come, Holy Spirit. Open the Scriptures to me as You opened them to the apostles. In Wisdom 9:13 I hear, “For who among men is he that can know the counsel of God? or who can think what the…” Give me understanding, give me desire, and give me the grace to obey with joy. Amen.
