Leviticus 6:7

Reflection for Today

The Church sets before us Leviticus 6:7: “And he shall pray for him before the Lord: and he shall have forgiveness for every thing in doing of which he bath sinned.”

Leviticus is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.

God often changes us less by thunder and more by a line of Scripture that will not leave us alone. Share this verse with someone who needs encouragement, not as advice from above, but as a gift you yourself are trying to live.

Prayer

Holy Trinity, I receive today's verse with the Church. Keep Leviticus 6:7 close to me. Let “And he shall pray for him before the Lord: and he shall have forgiveness for every…” guard my thoughts from morning until night, and let my life quietly agree with Your word. Amen.
