Theme: God's Love

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing nor uncircumcision: but faith that worketh by Charity.

Galatians 5:6

Reflection for Today

Today's Catholic verse of the day is Galatians 5:6: “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing nor uncircumcision: but faith that worketh by Charity.”

Galatians comes from the apostolic age, when the first communities were learning how to live the Gospel in ordinary struggles. The Church still listens here for guidance. Love in Scripture is never only a feeling. It is a decision to will the good of another, even when it costs patience, time, or pride.

Today's invitation under the theme of God's Love is simple and serious. Before the day runs away, sit with this verse for two quiet minutes. Say it slowly. Notice which word stays warm in the heart, and carry that word into one conversation.

Prayer

Father of mercies, I bring You this day and this verse from Galatians 5:6. As I listen to “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing nor uncircumcision: but…,” heal what is anxious in me, correct what is proud, and strengthen what is willing to love. Amen.
