Acts 5:31

Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible verse for Thursday, July 1, 2027, with reflection, prayer, and a link to the full chapter.

Theme: Daily Scripture

Forgiveness & Mercy

Him hath God exalted with his right hand, to be Prince and Saviour. to give repentance to Israel and remission of sins.

Acts 5:31

Reflection for Today

The Church sets before us Acts 5:31: “Him hath God exalted with his right hand, to be Prince and Saviour. to give repentance to Israel and remission of sins.”

The Acts of the Apostles remind us that the Church is not a museum of holy memories. It is a living community moved by the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.

Today's invitation under the theme of Daily Scripture is simple and serious. If possible, bring this line to Mass or to a brief visit before the Blessed Sacrament. Let Christ finish in silence what the verse began in your thoughts.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Through Acts 5:31, let “Him hath God exalted with his right hand, to be Prince and Saviour. to give…” become more than a memory. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
