Theme: Hope & Renewal
“But Christ, as the Son in his own house: which house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and glory of hope unto the end.”
Reflection for Today
The Church sets before us Hebrews 3:6: “But Christ, as the Son in his own house: which house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and glory of hope unto the end.”
Christian hope is not optimism with better branding. It is confidence that God is still at work when our timelines feel delayed. Hebrews comes from the apostolic age, when the first communities were learning how to live the Gospel in ordinary struggles. The Church still listens here for guidance.
Today's invitation under the theme of Hope & Renewal is simple and serious. Pray a decade of the Rosary with this verse in mind. Ask Mary to teach you how to keep God's word and ponder it, as she did.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Through Hebrews 3:6, let “But Christ, as the Son in his own house: which house are we, if we hold fast the…” become more than a memory. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
