The Church sets before us Wisdom 3:5: “Afflicted in few things, in many they shall be well rewarded: because God hath tried them, and found them worthy of himself.”
Wisdom belongs to the wisdom books, where faith meets daily decisions. Holiness is not only for extraordinary moments; it is learned in ordinary choices. The Catholic way of reading is never solitary for long. We read with the Church, with the saints, and with the poor Christ still loves.

Prayer
