Theme: Family

Family

And Moses said to God: Who am I that I should go to Pharao, and should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?

Exodus 3:11

Reflection for Today

Let Exodus 3:11 speak first, before our plans and worries do: “And Moses said to God: Who am I that I should go to Pharao, and should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?”

Exodus is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.

Today's invitation under the theme of Family is simple and serious. Before the day runs away, sit with this verse for two quiet minutes. Say it slowly. Notice which word stays warm in the heart, and carry that word into one conversation.

Prayer

Holy Trinity, I receive today's verse with the Church. Keep Exodus 3:11 close to me. Let “And Moses said to God: Who am I that I should go to Pharao, and should bring forth…” guard my thoughts from morning until night, and let my life quietly agree with Your word. Amen.
