Theme: Daily Scripture
“Not defrauding, but in all things shewing good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.”
Reflection for Today
Let Titus 2:10 speak first, before our plans and worries do: “Not defrauding, but in all things shewing good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.”
Titus comes from the apostolic age, when the first communities were learning how to live the Gospel in ordinary struggles. The Church still listens here for guidance. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.
God often changes us less by thunder and more by a line of Scripture that will not leave us alone. If the verse consoles you, do not rush past the comfort. Gratitude is also a form of obedience.
Prayer
Father of mercies, I bring You this day and this verse from Titus 2:10. As I listen to “Not defrauding, but in all things shewing good fidelity, that they may adorn the…,” heal what is anxious in me, correct what is proud, and strengthen what is willing to love. Amen.
